We install the wall unit and its wiring before checking protection and demonstrating charging. ### Can the electricity supply support the charger? We examine the incoming electrical capacity and your consumer unit, the fuse box supplying and protecting your wiring. The charger connection needs space in that box and protection suited to its power demand. ### Where will the charging lead reach? We select a suitable wall position that puts the car's charging socket within reach of the lead. The mounting surface sits outside the property or within a garage. ### How does the charger receive electricity? We fit a separate power cable between the wall unit and fuse box. We interrupt the property's electricity to connect its circuit breaker, a protective switch that cuts power during a fault. ### Does the installed charger work correctly? We test the protection devices and check the unit's ability to charge the vehicle. We demonstrate the charging operation after completing those checks. ## What does fitting a home charger in Fulham involve? ### Do you fit electric car charging points in Fulham? Bello Electrics Ltd installs home charging points in Fulham. We attach the charger to a suitable wall and connect separate wiring to power it. ### What work follows my charger installation booking? The fitting visit starts with checks of your electrical capacity and the car's parking position. We mount and wire the charging equipment, then test its protection and demonstrate charging. ### What does my property need for a home charging point? Home charging needs off street parking or a garage within reach of the charger. The incoming electricity supply must support the charging demand, with suitable protection and room for the connection in the fuse box. ### How much cable does the starting installation price include? The installation includes a cable allowance of ten metres from the fuse box to the wall unit. Each metre beyond that allowance adds to the fitting cost. ### What happens if the fuse box has no room for the charger? A full fuse box needs an additional enclosure for the charger's electrical protection or a replacement board. We check the existing box and its protective devices before connecting the charging circuit. ## Other services in Fulham - [Electrician in Fulham](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-fulham): Electrician in Fulham for circuit repairs, rewiring, electrical inspections and new fittings.
