The work continues through wall fixing and electrical connection to a charging test and demonstration. ### What must the electricity supply support? The incoming supply must support the electricity needed for charging. We examine the consumer unit, your fuse box, to check its spare connection space and the safety devices protecting the charger. ### What determines the charging position? The charging lead must reach the car from a suitable wall outside or inside your garage. We check that position against where the vehicle parks and establish where the power cable will pass. ### What happens when we wire the charger? We switch off the property's electricity while connecting the charger's separate supply. We fit its circuit breaker, a safety switch that disconnects electricity when a fault occurs, and connect the cable to the wall unit. ### How do we check charging before finishing? We test the charger's safety devices and check that the unit delivers electricity for charging. We then demonstrate its operation so you can see how the connected equipment works. ## What does home charger installation in Wandsworth involve? ### Does Bello Electrics Ltd install electric vehicle chargers in Wandsworth? We provide electric vehicle charger fitting in Wandsworth. The work secures the wall unit, connects its separate power supply and checks the finished charging operation. ### What does a property need before a charger can be fitted? A charger needs off street parking or a garage and enough electrical capacity to power it. We examine the fuse box's available space and safety devices alongside the position where the car will charge. ### What work takes place during the installation after booking? We check the property's electrical capacity and the charger position before attaching the unit and fitting its power cable. We connect the supply with electricity switched off, then test charging and demonstrate the unit. ### Can the existing fuse box power the charger? An existing fuse box can take the connection when it has spare space and suitable safety devices. A box without those features needs an additional protective enclosure or replacement before the charger connects. ### Which areas need working space during fitting? We need working space beside the fuse box and at the wall supporting the charger. The parking position and the path carrying the new cable must also remain accessible for installation and testing. ## Other services in Wandsworth - [Electrician in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth): Electrician in Wandsworth from Bello Electrics Ltd for wiring repairs, electrical inspections, lighting, appliance connections and alarms. - [EV charger installation (all areas)](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/services/ev-charger-installation): EV charger installation in Merton, Wandsworth, Battersea, and Chelsea by Bello Electrics Ltd for dedicated home electric vehicle charging. - [EICR and electrical surveys in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth/eicr) - [Consumer unit replacement in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth/fuse-board-replacement) - [PAT testing in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth/pat-testing) - [Electrical faults and maintenance in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth/electrical-fault-finding) - [Electric showers and bathroom electrics in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth/electric-shower-installation) - [Lighting installation in Wandsworth](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/electrician-wandsworth/lighting-installation) ## Business facts - Service area: Colliers Wood, Tooting, Streatham, Balham, Wandsworth, Putney, Battersea, Clapham, Oval, Brixton, Vauxhall, Pimlico, Chelsea, South Kensington, Mayfaair, Fulham - Hours: Calls answered 24/7 - Phone: +447455213345 - Email: info@belloelectricsltd.co.uk - Insurance: Public liability £5M, Professional indemnity £1M - Qualifications: BS7671; Testing and inspection; Initial verification; EV charging; PAT Test ## Book Now - [Book Now](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/#chat): Send the job details and request a quote from Bello Electrics Ltd. ## Sitemap - [Full sitemap](https://belloelectricsltd.co.uk/sitemap.md): Complete machine-readable page directory.
